Bismillahirrohmanirrohim. Snorkeling in Selayar

Image
What you can do in one day trip in Selayar. Well, if you dont know where Selayar is, please check out to map in this video. But in short description, Selayar is a long island in south of Sulawesi, Indonesia. If you have more time, you can visit its 136 islands in total. But usually people just visit the main island, where its city is located. From Jakarta, you can flight to Makassar, then continue your flight with small plane for about 35 minutes. But if you want to enjoy the ferry and bus, it will take about 11 hours in total. The bus' cost is around 150,000 IDR, and it's full AC. When you arrive in Benteng, the city of Selayar. You may rent snorkel kit in Tinabo Dive Center, not far from port. Then you can ask for locals where you can rent boat that can take you to the snorkeling spot. But I suggest you to go to Padang to find the boat. The price is vary depending how large the boat and how many people on board. If you know some locals, they can help you to bargain t...

AYVP 2017 Experience

Image
As starter, I would like to express my gratitude because I can be selected in this meaningful program. I would like to tell you this experience and hopefully become a memory that carved forever in this digital form for me, for my family, and hopefully for my future family. I am so proud to be representative of Indonesia in this ASEAN forum. I am absolutely super excited. Especially because the DRR topic is so sexy and I need to learn more about it. I have been working on climate change and environmental protection at least in the last four years. At the same time I took mining engineering as my undergraduate study as well. I believe AYVP is the intersection of both of them. In mining, I learn landslide and other natural events such as rainfall, and the environmental protection is very close to prevention of disaster. I believe god place me here with one reason, to help people and save them from disaster. First Week, is new chapter in my live. For one more time,...

Internship in Green School Bali

Image
Internship in Green School Bali I start my internship on January 9, 2017. I joined in marketing and communication team. First impression about Green School Bali is I am totally in the middle of village where rice field, garden, and river is all around at the same time I am feeling in global village where hundreds of people from 33 different nationalities are here to make a difference. On my first day, I joined school tour and sightseeing school's feature that support environmental learning experience. Here, science is developed for sustainability purposes. Internship in green school is awesome. In the beginning of internship, we decided SMART goal. S is specific, M is Measurable, A is achievable, R is relevant, and T is Time-bound. SMART goal is a spreadsheet of our goal to join internship program, about what we would like to learn and specialized. Overall, this smart goal is a track for me, so in the end of internship I can look back and know what I have done during on...
