 Writing Task 2 Question: In some countries, more and more people are becoming interested in finding out about the history of the house or building they live in. What are the reasons for this? How can people research this? Answer: There is increasing interest of home owners all around the world to get to know about the history of the building they live in. This curiosity gives some benefits one of them is to know the age of the building knowing how old the building will help the home owners to identify the need of reconstruction. Some buildings are designed to last a few years, and get the exact number of age of the building will the determine the house is rebuilt or abolish. WRITING TASK 1 The charts below show the changes in ownership of electrical appliances and amount of time spent doing housework in households in one country between 1920 and 2019. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Answer: The line chart illustrates the usage of three electrical appliances by households between 1920 to 2019. Three appliances in this study were washing machine, refrigerator, and vacuum cleaner. Generally the use of these electronic appliances grew over the years. Only washing machine showed a minor decline during the year of 1920. In 1920 less than half of households owned electronic appliances. In contract all household owned refrigerator and vacuum cleaner in 2019 and only 28% did not use washing machine.
